About Sustainable Empowerment Counselling and Psychotherapy
Sustainable Empowerment was founded on the psycho-dynamic perspective which is a generic term that embraces all psychology therapies of an analytical nature.
Richard Gosling, the founder of Sustainable Empowerment has a history of treating many problems and disorders with great success, helping clients from a wide range of different backgrounds.
The Counselling and Therapy is directed to personally enlighten, unchain and empower the person with a full understanding, acceptance and love for whom that person is, how that person became the person they are today and how to change what needs to be changed. The benefits can completely change the outcome of how one deals with other people and situations in both their inner and outer world.

My training, work experience and any achievement
My training has included Psychodynamic counselling and therapy.
I am a qualified bereavement counsellor and usually work with patients on counselling in London although I have consulted in many parts of the world.
Psychodynamic therapy is a generic term that embraces all those therapies of an analytic nature.
The Psychodynamic perspective embraces all forms of psychology that see the human functioning based upon the interaction of drivers and forces within the person, particularly subconsciously between the different structures of the personality.
Psychodynamic Principles ignore the trappings of science and focus on getting to understand the ‘psyche’ of individuals in order to make sense of their relationships, experiences and how they see the world; internal events as opposed to external events. Further Information
Safety, Confidence and Trust
- Except in unusual cases I only work with adults who are prepared to collaborate with me to achieve a new way of thinking.
- Treatment is more likely to succeed once clients are open to believing that they can change their feelings and that their happiness is not dependant upon something or somebody else.
- You don’t have to be afraid of talking to a psychotherapist about depression, shame, anger, low self-esteem or any other emotional problems you may be facing. It is a completely safe and trusting environment.
